The Institution of Engineers (India), Kochi Local Centre, is a leading hub for engineering excellence and professional development in Kerala. The 39th National Convention of Computer Engineers is organized in association with the Computer Engineering Division Board (CPDB), IEI National Council.
The centre actively bridges academia and industry by organizing national conventions, technical workshops, and seminars for a vibrant community of professionals and students. Known for its multidisciplinary expertise and consultancy services, it plays a key role in advancing engineering practice.

The 39th National Convention of Computer Engineers, organized under the Computer Engineering Division Board (CPDB) of the IE(I) National Council, is a premier platform for the nation’s computing professionals. Hosted by the Kochi Local Centre, the convention brings together experts to explore the theme “AI and IoT for an Inclusive and Empowered Society.”
It aims to connect advanced research with real-world societal needs, emphasizing innovation that is both cutting-edge and socially responsible. With a focus on strategic and emerging technologies, the event highlights solutions that promote equity and accessibility.
The research contributions presented here aim to uplift marginalized communities and reflect a strong commitment to technology-driven, inclusive national development.
Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished research papers aligned with the thematic areas of the 39th National Convention of Computer Engineers, focusing on AI, IoT, and inclusive technologies relevant to the conference theme.
All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure quality, originality, and relevance to the conference theme. Papers will be evaluated based on technical merit, innovation, clarity, and applicability.
The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.
The presented papers will be considered for publication in a SCOPUS-indexed Springer journal/proceedings, subject to obtaining necessary approvals and formal agreements from IE(I) Headquarters and Springer.
Only selected papers will be accepted for presentation at the National Convention, and at least one author must register and present the paper.
All authors of accepted papers are required to remit an amount of ₹5000 after their paper is selected for presentation at the National Convention.
Authors must prepare their manuscripts strictly in accordance with the prescribed template and format provided on the conference website.
Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished research papers aligned with the thematic areas of the convention. All submissions must be made through the Microsoft CMT3 platform and will undergo a rigorous peer review process. Selected papers will be permitted for presentation at the National Convention. The presented papers will be considered for publication in a SCOPUS-indexed Springer journal, subject to approvals. Authors of accepted papers are required to remit ₹5000 after selection for presentation.
